IBERONEX has an organisational structure, which includes an Advisory Board and Management Committee. These two entities play crucial roles in providing strategic guidance and expert advice in the formulation and implementation of initiatives that promote the goals of the Network.

These governance structure responds to the need to integrate diverse perspectives and areas of expertise. The key components that make up these committees are detailed below.

Advisory Council

The Advisory Council take the duties of consultative and advisory body for the guidelines, projects and activities aimed at the fulfilment of the Network’s objectives.

It´s main responsibilities are:

  • Strengthening the IBERONEX Network and preserving its reputation.
  • To provide advice on IBERONEX’s lines of action and Working Commissions.

This Council is made up of rectors from member universities, representatives of organisations and companies that are part of the network, ensuring plurality of perspectives within the network ecosystem.

The Board meets regularly twice a year, with the possibility of convening extraordinary meetings if is required. Members are selected of criteria related to their country of origin or entity, and are chosen according to the needs identified by the Management Committee. Renewal of members takes place every two years.

Management Committee

The Management Committee is the essential guidance body of the IBERONEX Network.

Objectives:

  • To ensure that the Network’s objectives are implemented and renowned.
  • Ensure the excellence of the content and disseminated through the Network.
  • To supervise the development of the Network’s lines of action.
  • Coordinate annual networking activities and events.
  • To lead the Working Committees.
