More than 60 years of experience
The Universidad de Lima, founded in 1962, has the satisfaction of having successfully educated generations of professional leaders and citizens who promote the development of Peru. In the history of Ulima, comprehensive education has been one of its pillars to address the challenges of a changing world.
The philosophy that inspired the founding of the University of Lima is oriented towards the search for scientific truth and the preparation of highly qualified professionals, with a humanistic culture and criteria of permanent updating and improvement. To train students within ethical standards and democratic principles is one of its priority objectives.
It has been more than sixty-two years of successes and challenges that have made the university grow and that have required the members of its community to put into practice the best of their talents, skills and knowledge.
Areas of knowledge
At present, the Universidad de Lima has approximately 22,300 students distributed among its General Studies Programme, its 12 degrees belonging to 5 faculties and its Postgraduate School; it also promotes a Scientific Research Institute (IDIC), and offers numerous services to students, teachers and the community in general.
Among the careers at the Universidad de Lima are: Architecture, Administration, Accounting and Finance, Economics, Marketing, International Business, Communication, Law, Civil Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Systems Engineering, Psychology. The Graduate School offers the following graduate programmes: Business Administration and Management (MBA Ulima), Banking and Finance (MBF), Communication and Content Management (MCGC), Business Law (MDE), Operations and Project Management (MDOP), Innovation Management (MGI), Marketing and Business Management (MMGC), Taxation and Fiscal Policy (MTPF), Doctorate in Management and Doctorate in Communication.
