The Universidad Tecnológica Centroamericana (UNITEC) was born as an alternative for university education, standing out for its innovative academic offer and its student-centred educational model, based on five key components: learning by competencies, a transforming teaching staff, a personalised experience, modern learning spaces and interaction with the work environment.
UNITEC’s mission
UNITEC’s mission is to train leaders with a global vision and social commitment, through an educational model based on skills, values, entrepreneurship, academic and technological innovation, internationality, research and links with society.
To complement this training, UNITEC offers programmes such as the Entrepreneurship Hub, a learning space that fosters creativity and innovation within the university community, ideal for entrepreneurs and innovators to connect and successfully execute their projects through incubation and acceleration.
Areas of knowledge
It offers a wide educational offer with more than 50 undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in areas such as administrative and social sciences, engineering, health sciences, art and design, business and communication, project engineering, law and government, and health. It also has more than 200 continuing education programmes, including courses, diplomas and certificates.
