All-round education
Universidad Tecnológica Privada de Santa Cruz (UTEPSA) offers a comprehensive educational model, centred on the student and geared towards developing intellectual, spiritual and physical skills, aptitudes and capabilities.
This approach extends equally to students, teaching staff and administrative personnel. The institution trains professionals with an ethical outlook, a sense of social responsibility and an entrepreneurial mindset.
Education since 1994
Founded in 1994 in the city of Santa Cruz de la Sierra, UTEPSA has made its mark on higher education in Bolivia. From the outset it has focused on technology as an essential component in training highly qualified professionals.
It pioneered the introduction of the Modular System in Bolivian higher education, a method allowing students to take one subject per month without sacrificing the academic rigour of traditional systems. In 2001 it obtained Universidad Plena certification, which attests to its level of institutional development.
